A Mixture Between Old and New

Today was such a busy day, but it sure was a great one! I woke up at about 8:00 to take a shower and get ready for our coach tour of the city with a lady named Britt, who was exceptionally cute and funny. She gave us so much information to take in about all these little places around the city that I would never have been able to find by myself. It was so exciting to see the Thames for the first time and I almost cried when I was able to see Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and Parliament! :) We had a great time and were able to get off the bus to see Buckingham Palace. We saw the Horse Guards come right by us, so there were some great pictures. Britt gave many recommendations to eat and visit, including many Harry Potter sights!
After the tour, we went to Cafe Rouge to eat lunch and were immediately intimidated by the menu because it was in French, but I am so glad that we stayed because it was delicious! Then we were able to go on a walking tour of Little Venice, which is our neighborhood. Shawn took us all through the streets to better understand where we are located. Although it was extremely cold, the tour was very helpful and we saw great places to take walks once it gets warm. He is also going with us tomorrow to Bath and Stonehenge. We are just hanging out here tonight and Sam is cooking us dinner because we have a big day tomorrow!

Hi honey,
I came home to take a shower and to go to work. Thought I would drop you a line. Everything is goo here...very busy. This whole move and taking care of dad reminds me of having a baby with the work involved. I was sooooo over that part of my life. But, it is what it is and I will do my best for everybody.
It sounds like you are having a ball. Dad is mailing your log book today. I love you and miss you already. God Bless and stay safe. Hugs and kisses, mom
