Some Randoms

Well, there are some things that I think are important to note about London that tend to be completely random and they don't exactly fit in with my daily blogs. But here are some things that I have learned or noticed since being here...

- Carbonated Lemonade is the best drink ever, plus it is really cheap
- I'm not sure who hates on the weather here, but it actually is pretty amazing.. I hope I don't jinx it, but we haven't had that much rain and it isn't very cold
- You know you are living in London when you blow your nose and the snot is black because of the car exhaust (it happens to everyone, don't worry)
- The free newspapers that you are given before getting on the Tube are really nice to look at
- A person can only eat so much pasta... we are currently looking for alternates
- Everything sounds better when a Brit says it.. and I mean everything!

I'm sure I will think of other random things that I will want to share with you as I am here, so I will try to make note of them. Also, a funny story... We were out the other night and this man asked me where we were from. I said North Carolina in the States and then he asked me if we had sharks. I said yes.. then he asked me, "Do you get eaten?" haha.. just imagine that in the British accent and it makes it even better. :)
