Today felt like the longest day ever! We left the flats at 8:30 to go to Greenwich again with our GST class. We had to do other group's tour guides, so it was pretty interesting. We went to the Painted Chapel and the Royal Observatory and saw some really neat things there. The Painted Chapel was gorgeous! Unfortunately, it was much colder than I expected it to be and it was really windy. After our tours were completed, we went to sit in this maze garden to eat our packed lunches. There were several young children running around that were so bundled up in their coats that they looked just as wide as they were tall. It was super cute!! We took a boat from Greenwich to Westminster, so it was great to see the sights from the river.
We decided a few days ago that we would do our 4 mile walk for GST today, and we decided to stay with it even though the weather wasn't that great. The walk started out pretty neat once we got there. We saw some really interesting places and then got to go through a park. We saw so many cats along our path and most of them were really sweet. :) Once we got closer to the end of the path, the path got really sketchy because it was going through parts of the city that made us a bit uncomfortable. It was worth it though because now it is over! I am so glad that there are no classes tomorrow!! Zane and I are going to the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum tomorrow, so that should be really fun!
